The Journey

For the Founding Partners, the passion to make a difference and to share our experiences with others has always been a part of our journey. When we decided to go into a business partnership, we immediately thought of areas where we could make a difference in people’s  lives. Committed to knowledge and skill development, innovation , equity and diversity, we identified an area that we believe is underserved – enabling highly qualified and skilled personnel make a quick and easy transition into industry.

Our key objectives

One-on-One Career Guidance (either during or when considering career transitions) in person or over the phone. $75 an hour over the phone, and $50.00 an hour in person. If you are in transition right now, looking at where your second or third career should be or if you are employed but exploring options where your second or third career should be, we will offer career advice and provide resources to guide you.

If you are looking at your career choices and options, we are here to support you with ad vice and resources to chart your career/ professional trajectory. Also consider enrolling in one of our workshops in your area where you can meet others on the same career path and be partnered with a professional mentor

Meet the Team

Dr. Eva Aboagye, Partner

Eva has over 15 years of management experience. She started off in human resource development as Assistant Registrar, Personnel Department of the University of Ghana before pursuing a graduate degree in Higher Education (Administration and Planning). After her PhD, she worked as a Research Consultant for a couple of years before joining Centennial College. She was at Centennial College for 12 years and held a number of positions starting from Research Officer, to Manager, Strategic and Institutional Planning and Performance, to Director of Policies, Pathways and Grants and finally as Senior Researcher in the Institute for Global Citizenship and Equity. During her time at Centennial she had the opportunity to recruit and mentor Highly Qualified and Skilled Personnel. She is currently Project Manager at George Brown College, managing 4 federally funded projects.

She has a PhD. and M.Ed. in Higher Education; a Graduate Diploma in Population Studies and a BA (Hons.) in Sociology with English.

Mr. Kwadwo (Michael) Bosompra, Partner

Michael is a mechanical engineer by education. Michael has experience applying his educational background in non-traditional settings. He worked for Engineers Without Borders, Canada focused on Governance and Rural Infrastructure, launched and ran a Canadian direct to consumer e-commerce business, and has worked for Procter & Gamble for several years in a process improvement/optimization capacity as well as a sales capacity. Michael brings prior experience starting a company and establishing a digital presence. Michael has a B.A.Sc in Mechanical Engineering is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

 

 

Dr. Nombuso Dlamini, Partner

Nombuso career trajectory has made her the key sought for professional advisor of our times. She started her career working in community development in south Africa, moved into high school teaching and two years later transitioned into communication and translation while doing her Masters and is now Professor of education at York University.  She recently finished her term as the Jean Augustine Chair in the New Urban Environment, which was a position that allowed interaction with diverse people of all ages, cultures and gender. She is an educator and a mentor; many young people have benefited from her career guidance and mentoring. She holds a PhD from OISE/UT, and Masters from Halifax and Nova Scotia

Mr. Felix Quaye, Partner

Felix has a varied background comprised of his education in engineering, environmental science, computer science and several years of work experience in the business sector. Felix’s educational background includes a Bachelors in civil engineer, a Masters in environmental engineering, and Diplomas in environmental protection technology and computer programming. His work experiences in the business sector include 11 years with Home Depot where he currently works and 6 years teaching computer programming at CDI College. Felix brings to the company, his expertise in the information technology field and his experiences from the private sector.
